Morning Coffee
My husband gets up about an hour earlier than I do. Through the haze of early morning sleep, I hear him going about his morning routine. One thing he does every morning is get the coffee going. I love the reassuring sound of the coffee grinder, which I can hear because our master bedroom is situated right off the living areas on the ground floor. When I get up, that first cup of coffee feels like a little love note left behind.
